i saw a bunch of members with custom avatars how do u get these?

You have to have a certain member status before you can create custom avatars. There's probably something about it in one of the Newbie FAQs. Check there for more info.

you need 2 have 40 or more posts

Yeah, those avatars look pretty cool. Some day I'll have my own :-)

Damn :) you just beat me to it. I just got custom avatars in my member benefits box, I was going to ask about it. :)
