    Suggested Before, Probably Beating a Dead Horse

    My suggestion:

    Code:
    drop database AntiOnline;
    Start fresh, give everyone a chance to start on the same level, get rid of the AP system entirely while you're at it and let Jup Media start with a fresh piece of meat to play with. Imagine how different AO could be if Jup Media just deleted everything and let it start all over again...

    Yeah they'll lose a ton of money becuase there wouldnt be a user database to present to other companies for banners ! And all the valuable information on here would be gone, and i think this is one huge, nice looking, databse with a load **** of info in it !

    End Conclusion : Bad idea !

    The site has a steady stream of members who come here and I'm sure Jup Media could reference the current user quantity.

    Valuble information is everywhere...what one considers valuable, might be absolute garbage to another... so I say that Jup Media start from a clean base and let them run this site from a new perspective.

    Gotta agree, it is a very bad idea. JUPM would lose a shitload of money and visitor's/advertisers. And by the way, where was this suggested before? /me doesn't recall this ever being suggested before.

    I don't think Jup Media would lose that much money at all... they could even make more by letting advertisers have an influence on the 'new' site.

    Why would they ever even consider deleting the database. And if they wanted to start over from scratch, they would just start a new site and run it in conjuction with this one ( a profitable established site).


    That would be like going to Las Vegas and dumping all of your money on the street before entering a casino, just to see if you can make it starting from scratch.
