We don't have it because thats one lame suggestion.
*Edited: Oh and im sure most would not want this place to end up like blackcode has... the only good thing they've got going for them are news reports from other sites and people's comments on them.

what, phone security? are you retarded? this is a security site, not "Lets all dance around and learn how to get our buddie's password and email cute little messages to his girlfriend.. blah blah."
this is like asking for a forum called " how to break into computers.."

voIP ring a bell? Will probably bring up LOADS of network security issues...
IP Telephony security is on it's way, and I predict there will be a forum in a year or so.

Not many members have heard about this... its kinda a inside joke, but anyways... This kinda reminds me of that time I put rude comments & jokes... not to mention gay porno all over SpecHackers.com cause they ripped part of my name... and they were a bunch of jack-asses who spamed their site on AO, then flamed a guy when the same thing happend to their site, oh and took tutorials from AO members as their own.
Anyways... anyways... because of what I did they ended up makeing a new forum specificly for cyber-sexing and posting up more porn.

Not to knock your idea, but I HIGHLY doubt there's enough interest in the first place as well as the fact that phreaking in general isn't as big a subject anymore these days. Topics such as wireless security, spyware, etc are more "today" so to speak IMO.

I agree with Soda~
IP Telephony security is on it's way, and I predict there will be a forum in a year or so.
At present I would suggest that such issues belong in the "Wireless Security" Forum.
As hand held devices become more sophisticated and mobile phones become more like PCs, I can see this rapidly becoming a real issue. A bit like connecting laptops to your network is today.
I do not personally see any need for a forum on "phreaking" It is rather lame (as already stated), limited in its scope and pretty much outdated. I really do not think that there are sufficient issues to warrant a forum on a security site.

You know I found that carefully placed cuts in the toung will help heaps in being able to whistle up the DTMP tones.. I was also able to confuse Fax machines.. .. the slits had to be recut about once a month.. could impress the girls by whisltling their phone no.. and the pizza shop.. .. Ahhh the good fun days..
Could never quiet get the fax transmission rythem right..
phreaking .. still a lame sport.. and the request for a forum on phreaking is like asking for a forum for "How to Hack Hotmail".. as lame as putting slits in ya tounge
cheers
