I think that would just be disturbing. What if someone you knew went out that way? I don't mean to be the voice of political correctness or hypersensitivity, but an animated gif of some guy swinging and twitching would just be in bad taste. I think the graphic is fine the way it is; it conveys the message.

Ok, some people dont have a sense of humor. Im sorry if you know someone that died that way -- but if the graphic as is dont remind you of it, a little humorus animation will certainly not be the deciding factor that drives you into flashbacks.
But hey you have the right to express your opinion.... *shrug*

I'd like to see that little envelope with a lock icon turn to envelope with a rope. That would nicely separate suicided threads from threads that were locked the usual way. This is if we really are not going to get the Thread_AP_balance-o-meter into the forum pages.

Btw, Similar Threads AntiPoint-o-meter says "Post assigned", it should actually be "Thread assigned". Just a nitpick...
